Editing the Pictures with Photoshop

Having chosen the best picture out of the numerous pictures from the photo shoot containing my models, i decided to experiment with the background as the original background was grey backdrop that does not suit accordingly to my indie rock magazine.

Double page spread layout  ideas and planning

Conventions of a double paged spread.

-columned text 

- clear font

-quote from article as header

- page numbers in corner

- one main body image 

-clean layout 

- simple, plain background (to be able to read text off)

- use of colour scheme

- eye catching photography

All three double paged spreads that look very similar, and use the same layout however are effective in different ways. The quotes are bold and stands out in the middle of the article, which attract the audiences's attention, therefore it would have to be memorable and encourage the audience to  want to read the rest of the article.
